Mario Martone picks up the thread of his show of 2004, the Opera segreta, the triptych whose last part was devoted to the long Neapolitan stay of Giacomo Leopardi, and he returns to the poet from Recanati, putting in scene the Operette morali in the cosy space of the nineteenth-century hall of the Teatro Gobetti: «... a text that - the director explains - the contemporary dramaturgy shows us today in all of its theatrical potentialities».
