The stage was endowed with a Cortina cu deschidere greaca simpla made of FOT - Otello velvet and with a Mascatura scena manufactured with COS - Oscurante molton.A Cortina fonica appositely made up allows the total separation of the stage from the hall, contemporarily allowing the unmolested execution of orchestral rehearsals and the installation of the scenography.
It was also realized the whole system of Ecrane pentru proiecţie faţă and Ecrane retroproiecţie and supplied the floor TSM - Silviagrips for the dance shows.The architect Louis-Marie Cordonnier (1854-1940) planned the theater inspiring himself to the Opéra Garnier of Paris and to the Italian theaters.
The Théâtre de l'Opéra de Lille is a teatru în stil italian with a horseshoe-shaped hall, parterre and four balconies, 1.138 seats.

A fire destroys the theatre.

Lille is occupied by the German army.
1915
After completing the work, the Germans inaugurate the theatre.
1918
Before abandoning Lille, the Germans cause significant damage to the theatre.
1923
After completing the necessary restoration work, the theatre is inaugurated a second time by the French.
1998 - 2003
The theatre is closed and restored under the direction of Patrice Neirinck and Pierre-Louis Carlier.
