The gigantic bow of the boat separated in two parts, that is the symbol of the separation between Isotta și Tristano.The cloudy sky is a proiecție video effected on a Ecran retroproiecţie din folie RTE - Temporale.The intervention of one of the greats of the contemporary scenografie is immediately recognizable: Ezio Frigerio, known to be an experimenter of new materials cu which he has often gotten uncommon dramatic contrasts, used here instead, for the realization of the sea fundal, the QSK - Retrafilm.

After the medieval opening, the third act transposes the tale of the opera in a hospital's ward of our days.The curtains were manufactured with white HSE - Tempesta silk.
The transparency of the white draperies made of HSE - Tempesta silk, placed side by side to the black ones made of EVT - Light Sceno Poly that have been stretched on the frames. The sea is a realization performed with the QSK - Retrafilm.

The sea was realized with the QSK - Retrafilm opportunely worked in folds to get the particular reflecting effect.Illuminated by small and dense flashes of light in circular motion, the sea backdrop took life to the point to assume an extraordinary illusion of undulation of the water. The installation gathered the share of Pasqual, that was a Strehler student, and of Frigerio and Squarciapino, historical collaborators of the great Italian director.
