In front of the scene of the preceding sketch it was hanged a backdrop made of BGO - Gobelin tulle that occupies the whole proscenium, painted with a big female subject with a red mantle, with which they were created some games of transparency and fading with the characters and the scene that are behind it.

The big female figure is painted on the backdrop made of BGO - Gobelin tulle, and the black ideograms too. Cio-cio-san and Suzuki can be seen in transparency through the tulle. At their shoulders, the painted backdrop made of ASC - Sceno muslin that shows a stylized Japanese landscape.
