The space between the valance and the curtain, which is installed at a certain distance from the proscenium arch, is closed by two tormentors made in the same way as the curtain.
The valance is made with a knife (single pleat) falduri verticale and the direction of the pleats of each of the two halves is symmetrical, it converge from the sides towards the center, where the coat of arms of the city of Pavia stands out.
The teaser behind the curtain was also made in the same way as the valance, with falduri verticale with a simmetrical knife pleat. The stage is equipped with a black Mascatura scena made of COS - Oscurante molton.
The valance highlights the characteristic flattened appearance of the knife falduri verticale.
The internal disposition of Fraschini is built up on a rectangular plant divided symmetrically between audience and stage.
Each of the four orders of stages represent a distinct order of architecture: Doric the first, Ionian the second, Corinthian the third, Atticus the fourth.
The bell-shaped hall, typical of the theatrical buildings designed by Antonio Galli da Bibbiena.
The Teatro Fraschini is a theatre ''all'italiana'' with a bell-shaped hall with four tiers of boxes and a gallery, 750 seats.
With the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the Teatro Rossini in Lugo of Romagna, the Teatro Lauro Rossi of Macerata, the Teatro Scientifico of Mantova and the Teatro Onigo of Treviso,it is part of the most important theatrical buildings designed by the great scenographer and architect of '700 Antonio Galli da Bibbiena (1697-1774).
At the inauguration it was called Teatro dei Quattro Cavalieri, and kept it until the end of the nineteenth century, when it was dedicated to Pavese tenor Gaetano Fraschini.
