GGI - Siria
The fabric of GGI - Siria gauze is the same of the GTR - Tarlatana, its rigidity springs from the particular dressing treatment. The comparison between the two fabrics underlines how a very different consistency corresponds to the same weft.
Teatro alla Scala, ''Pelléas et Mélisande'' Fountain made by the workshop of the Teatro alla Scala, which sculpted blocks of polystyrene and then covered their surface with the appropriate plaster. The fountain has the shapes ...
... of a young woman depicted in a half-length portrait. The plaster was reinforced with GGI - Siria cotton gauze.
Teatro alla Scala, ''Teneke'' The tormented high grounds of this scenography by Arnaldo Pomodoro have been realized by the scenographical workshop of Teatro alla Scala with a large use of GGI - Siria gauze.
GGI - Siria is a lightweight legătură pânzã cotton fabric with a loose and transparent texture.
In scenography it is normally used as a support, soaked in a solution of water and vinyl glue, to reinforce the surface of scenic elements or polystyrene sculptures.
It is also used for veils, transparency effects, costumes and props.
The same fabric stiffened with the vinyl solution is the GTR - Tarlatana.
