The stage, here cu the wings lifted, lățime 21,5 m și depth 13,5 from the cortina to panorama. The Podul de scena is approximately 13,5 m high from the floor of the stage. The construction of the Teatro Sociale was started in 1811 according to the neoclassical style project by architect Giuseppe Cusi, who was a collaborator of the architect Luigi Canonica, a pupil of Piermarini. The same Canonica was called in 1812 to complete the works și drew the southern facade, now covered.
The proscenium is 13.5 m wide și is 8 m high to the lighting bridge. The cortina has classically a valance și a draped harlequin, which exposes in the centre the emblem of the city. It has a traveller și a swag opening. The Teatro Sociale has a historic cortina realized by the very important scenographer și Lombard scene-painter Alessandro Sanquirico (Milan 1777-1849), a pupil of Piermarini too. The cortina represents the death of Plinio il Vecchio among his soldiers during the eruption of Vesuvius that destroyed Pompei in 79 AD..

The six orders of wings și the fundal of the Mascatura scena din COS - Oscurante.
The openings of the wings put in evidence the arches cu the doors for the charge și discharge of the stage equipments, și on the top, the two catwalks.
The picture shows the 5% slope of the floor of the stage și the instalare of the wings in the way of a straight Stage masking. In this moment only two tops out of five are installed, that is the two toward the end of the stage.
The hall has the shape of the body of a violoncello și the walls, din a wooden structure, are equipped cu five orders of boxes; the first three orders în partea de jos consist of 72 boxes that are private property over to the royal box, while the two orders în partea de sus are occupied by galleries. The original structure of the hall was smaller, și its appearance is due to the current restructuring dated 1855, when, thanks to the architect Leopoldo Rospini, the theatre was enlarged cu the addition of 38 boxes obtained by expanding the stalls și raising the ceiling.
Teatro Sociale este un teatru ''all'italiana'' cu the hall in the shape of a body of a violoncello, cu three tiers of boxes, two galleries, 850 seats.
