From the Role de pod fixe are descending the elements that will be the deck of the Pequod, the legendary whaling ship of Melville wich the guardian of the theatre recalls out of his disturbed imagination.«She will be the only female character, the unique with a good dose of reality, in a story where all the male characters are exalted, visionary, and dominated by some exasperated obsession.»
In this work, the company of the Marche superimposes to the countless reading levels to which Melville's Moby Dick can be submitted, a metaphor of the theatrical artist that the adversity of fate didn't allow to succeed.«The normal life goes on between meetings and altercations that the cleaning woman has with the custodian of the theatre, an elderly rough brusque man, mysteriously lame because of a tragic mutilation of a leg, who found a partial remedy to this situation with a very mysterious prosthesis.»
Disturbed only by the occasional presence of the cleaning woman, the solitude of the guardian is in a precarious balance that doesn't allow to presage, however, how on the stage are going to live again, cu a dramatic recovery from Melville's masterpiece, the eternal conflicts between Good și Evil, between lucidity și madness, between obstinacy și inevitability of fate, between rationality și delirium.

The transformation of the stage in the sea during the storm that sweeps the fleet is obtained with a projection of billows on a backdrop made of BGO - Gobelin tulle, white colour, superimposed to the scene.The result is a vision in a cross fading of cinematographic style, a classic scenographical effect realized with the use of the tulle backdrops.
