Crèche of Chiarisacco 2011 / 2012

The crèche of Chiarisacco is realized on the water, in the suggestive landscape-natural context of the park of the river Corno.
It is different every year for the constant reworking and new reading of the classical idea of the crèche that allows a greater liberty of language and use of the materials.
The monumentality of the crèche (it has an average size to the base 6 x 6 m, height from 7,5 to 10 m) is a constant element both to sustain the comparison with the natural context in which it is inserted and to also guarantee the vision to whom transits by car on the near roads.
From a constructive point of view and of the materials (plastics, metal, net, polystyrene), the preparations keep in mind the exposure to the most varied atmospheric conditions for a nonstop period of about 3 weeks, during which the crèche is always visitable - the nighttime visit adds the suggestion of the lights and the reflexes on the water.
