RNB - Nebbia is a translucent film for rear and frontal projections.
It has an appearance that is somewhat similar to that of frosted glass and, when properly illuminated, takes on a unique and characteristic metallic effect.
Its translucency gives it a very high transmittance in rear projection, while its poor diffusion properties produce an evident hot spot effect.
Those that would be problems for a normal rear-projection screen are instead exploited to obtain original effects, both with large theatrical rear-projection screens than simply with strips used in theatrical or exhibitive set-ups.
It is used framed to make backlighted Flats with a considerable size or scenographic inserts with a smaller size.
It can be painted or digitally printed.
