Teatro San Carlo, ''Gustavo III''

Naples

Nicola Rubertelli's scenographies employed some of the most traditional materials, but in a modern and innovative way.A painted backdrop made of BGO - Gobelin as wide as the whole portal, for instance, created with the projections some slow and magnificent cross-fadings of cinema style, functional to the passages of the original direction by Ruggero Cappuccio. The effect of the fadings was that of an enormous lens on the portal, through which the dramatic carrying out was magnified and focused with indescribable effectiveness.
