FOS - Crumpled velvet

The crushing technique is a mechanical process that can be performed on request on various types of velvet.
Usually the velvets in synthetic fiber guarantee a better yield and a longer stay of the creases compared to the cotton velvets.
The images show the results of working on different types of Peroni velvets.
The processing modifies the velvet aesthetically, while other characteristics, such as the reaction to fire and sound-absorption, are not altered.
