The Studio Foce Theatre of Lugano was realized in a hall of a building restructured in rationalist style in the Thirties, when it was the seat of the first broadcast studies in Lugano, as long as in the 1961 Radio Monteceneri, the historic radio of Italian Switzerland, moved to Besso.
Its theatrical seasons, that pay particular attention to the young public, side those of the Teatro Cittadella and of the Palazzo dei Congressi.
The stage, 12 m wide and 7 m deep, is realized in a simple but effective way, for the kind of representations that take place on it, while the hall can entertain up to 166 spectators.
