... is painted on the backdrop made of BGO - Gobelin tulle, and the black ideograms too. Cio-cio-san and Suzuki can be seen in transparency through the tulle. At their shoulders, the painted backdrop made of ASC - Sceno muslin that shows a stylized Japanese landscape.
Characterized by a refined kabuki inspiration, the scenography is based on the use of backdrops made of painted ASC - Sceno muslin and BGO - Gobelin tulle.
An intense red halo has just come down to wind the characters, is announcing that Butterfly's tragedy, knelt on the tatami, is about to be consumed.
