Royal O.H. - Covent Garden, ''Faust''

London

A curtain composed by two overlapped parts: the ''house tab'', the open curtain made of ASC1000S - Sceno 1.000 cm and the ''house tab gauze'', the closed curtain, made of painted BGO - Gobelin tulle. The overlap of the two parts, made of painted canvas and tulle, allows to get, exploiting the transparency and the reflection to the light of the tulle, an unusual effect of simulation of opening and closing of the curtain. The curtain brings on the stage, as it is known, the curtain of the Opéra Garnier in Paris, where the action narrated by the masterpiece of Charles Gounod develops. The international co-production of the preparation submitted the execution of the scenographical works to the workshop of the Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi of Trieste, one of the best equipped in Italy.
