The hall during the 2003 restructuring. It can be noticed the rebuilding, during its execution, of the last two orders of boxes which were dismantled at the period of the restructuring carried out at the beginning of the'900 to make room for a gallery that could accommodate a larger number of spectators.The 2003 renovations ...

... restored the hall to an appearance close to its original state.

A detail of the decorations in enamelled stucco with gildings realized in 1860, as ornament of the front of the boxes, by the Milanese decorator Gaetano Speluzzi.

The proscenium arch with a little view of the fresco that represents the Muses and the Arts that descend on Earth sent from Jupiter, this work is realized by Francesco Gonin.

The Teatro Vittorio Alfieri is a Italian-style theatre with a horseshoe-shaped hall with four tiers of boxes and a gallery, 700 seats.

1858-1860

The theatre is built according to the project by Domenico Svanascini.
The decorations are by Gaetano Spelluzzi, the ceiling frescoes and the historic curtain by Francesco Gonin.
