PBO - Bianco Ottico is a specific film for the manufacture of professional Frontal projection screens to be used in theatrical scenographies and of concerts, in movie theaters and in staging of events.
It returns the projections in a neutral and uniform way because it has a gain close to 1, that is, it does not increase or reduce the luminous flux it receives from the projector and its viewing angle has an almost flat curve, ideal for a homogeneous vision.
It does not alter the colour temperature of the projection source, therefore it has an optimal reproduction fidelity.
It lends itself very well to edge blending projections.
It is an extremely versatile material, usable in a variety of situations, with some warning: its performance is ideal in good darkening conditions, without high light interferences that cause a loss of contrast.
If a screen with similar performance is needed, but which maintains a good contrast even in situations with much light, it is recommended to choose the PST - Stormy film which, however, under the same conditions, needs a higher luminous flux.
The PBO - Bianco Ottico is not opaque to light, for screens with similar performances but with this characteristic, use the PBL - Blackout.
For screens with similar performances but with good sound transparency, see PMI - Bianco Ottico Perforato and PBM - Blackout Microforato.
