It is a transparent mirror for the holographic reflection of a video projected on other surfaces (Rear-projection screens
, Frontal projection screens
, monitors) or of real subjects.
It allows the superimposition of the reflected image on a real background with a three-dimensional effect.
The adjustment of the brightness of the video reflected from 0 to 100% and vice versa allows to display or hide the reflected subject (hologram).
The effect is also known as the Pepper's Ghost effect
and was described for the first time by Giambattista della Porta
in 1584 and subsequently by Athanasius Kircher
The transparent QHM - Holofilm 400 cm
with which it is made prevents the duplication of the reflected image that would be obtained with the use of sheets of glass or plexiglass.
The holographic image is not obtained with a direct projection on the ZHM - Holographic Mirror
but with the reflection and the projection, therefore, does not reach any of the zones that can be watched.
The flexion of the frame has to be imperceptible or it won't be possible to adequately stretch the mirror that will show folds and deformations of the reflected image.
The mirrors have to be stretched along the four sides in a uniform way.
of the mirror
1 - WCS - Strap
+ WOC - Eyelets
+ WPE - Perofix
In this case the mirror must have a size of 5 cm per each side less then the inside area of the frame to allow the correct stretching of the WPE - Perofix
It is needed a perimetric masking, whose dimensions have to be of 20 cm per side less than the inside area of the frame, in order to hide the creases due to the punctual tension of the elastic hooks on the eyelets.
2 - pocket + 8FV - Glass Fiber Rod
+ WCG - Ratchet straps
For experienced users, it allows to avoid the punctual tension of the elastic hooks on the eyelets but it however needs a perimetric masking whose dimensions have to be 20 cm per side less than the inside area of the frame.
rolled up and protected by a special packaging
installation immediately after delivery is highly recommended;
prolonged rolling and temperatures not included in the +4° C / + 28° C range could damage the film
the roll packaging must be slipped or rolled out of the crate / protection box (not taken out lifting it) avoiding crushing the packaging and provoking a flexion of the roll;
the roll must be unrolled on a flat floor protected by a clean and soft cloth without dragging the film;
the dragging of the film and the flexion of the packaging tube can cause irreversible abrasions and marks;
the frame of the mirror must be fixed to the mirror while it is lying horizontally on the floor;
the frame with the mirror can be brought into a vertical position only after fixing the mirror;
the mirror film is not similar to the film of a vinyl screen, if it is inadvertently bent or scratched the damage is irreversible;
for those reasons the mirror surface is scrupulously inspected before packing
dust can be removed with an anti-electrostatic feather duster;
fingerprints can be removed with a very soft cloth like those used for cleaning the lenses of glasses
