The entrance to the arena of one of the three gigantic backdrops made of silver HLU - Lucilla with flat making.
Each of the silver HLU - Lucilla backdrops measured 52 x 27 m and weighed about 60 kg.
Each backdrop was carried by about a hundred celebrants who, arranged along its perimeter, made it perform evolutions.
The silver surface of the HLU - Lucilla fabric has been used as a reflective support for the games of light.
The creative direction and the scenography of the show used the lightness, the resistance and the capability to hold the air of the HLU - Lucilla fabric to create a polychrome mantle that was apparently endowed with its own life.
The symbolic meaning of the large mantle, which here highlights its natural silver colour, has not yet been revealed. The evolutions of the backdrop and of the celebrants, although hypnotic and aesthetically engaging, would seem until now to be an end in themselves, but now ...
... with the use of chromatic lighting, the lighting designers Daniele Finzi Pasca and Alexis Bowles let the reflective surface of the fabric take on the colours of the grape must.
