1Z05 - Curtain winch is a hand-operated winch designed for the manual operation of track-mounted curtains and drapes(Track systems), as an alternative to direct rope operation.
It represents a more efficient solution compared to direct manual pulling, reducing operator effort and ensuring smoother and more controlled curtain movement.
The system uses a rope transmission with an integrated spring tensioning system, ensuring constant traction and reliable operation.
Operation and Safety
The traction pulley is designed for use with textile ropes with a diameter of 8 mm and is equipped with containment rollers that prevent the rope from slipping out during operation.
The removable cover allows quick access for rope insertion and maintenance operations, while protecting the operator from accidental contact with moving parts, thereby increasing operational safety.
Ergonomics and Use
The crank handle adjustable in two positions allows the winch to be adapted to different load conditions:
- short lever for faster rotation, suitable for lightweight curtains;
- long lever to achieve greater mechanical advantage, suitable for heavier curtains.
The foldable handle helps reduce overall dimensions when the system is not in use, improving safety and practicality in stage environments.

A self-supporting frame is available on request for installations independent from the wall.
